Parece que “El Jefe” se siente muy agradecido con este país, como él mismo lo expresa: “República Dominicana es un país que me ha dado muchísimo, pero cuando visito esta tierra siempre hay una necesidad bien grande y muchos niños sin comer que me tocan el corazón”.
Razón que lo motivó a construir el comedor para alimentar a niños de escasos recursos en el barrio El Tamarindo, a 20 kilómetros al este de la capital.
El “Daddy’s House”, nombre con el cual bautizó el lugar, se construyó a través de su fundación Corazón Guerrero.
Todo parece indicar que ese cariño es recíproco, pues “El Cangry”, como también se le conoce, fue reconocido por el alcalde del Distrito Nacional, Roberto Salcedo, como “huésped distinguido de Santo Domingo”.
